SemiAnalysis: in a first, AMD overtook Intel in data center revenue in Q3 2024; AMD hit $3.55B, above Intel's $3.3B revenue, which is down from $6B+ in Q1 2022  —  But both fall far behind sales of Nvidia's AI GPUs.  —  For well more than two decades, Intel has been the undisputed leader in the market for datacenter CPUs.
