Robotics startup Figure is exiting its Feb. 2024 OpenAI deal, which aimed to develop AI models for robots, to focus on in-house AI after a “major breakthrough”  —  Figure AI founder and CEO Brett Adcock announced Tuesday that the humanoid robotics firm is exiting a deal with OpenAI.
