A 2024 study of 205 randomly chosen Community Notes on X about COVID-19 vaccines found that 97% of the notes were accurate and ~50% cited high-quality sources — Crowdsourcing accuracy online is complicated. But Community Notes, when used correctly, can be a valuable tool.
