Amazon reports Q1 AWS revenue up 17% YoY to $29.3B, vs. $29.42B est., and AWS operating income up 23% YoY to $11.55B  —  Amazon reported better-than-expected results for the first quarter, driven by growth in its cloud computing and advertising businesses, but it gave soft guidance for the current period.
