Uber starts deploying fully driverless WeRide robotaxis in Abu Dhabi, after launching its robotaxi service with safety drivers in the UAE in December 2024 — The robotaxis, which are designed by WeRide, will be restricted to Yas Island, a popular tourist destination in Abu Dhabi.
